Why use the Powersafe?
Powersafe connectors enable high power transmission (over 500 volts) while being 100% safe for the users. The Powersafe connectors are derived from the D38999 connectors and qualified according to VG96944 standards. Their main benefit is to provide user safety with a first-to-mate earth contact directly linked to the shell. The last-to-mate/first-to-break pilot contact allows the mating and unmating without power.
